Approximately 4 1/2 years ago, after hearing a calling so loud that I could not ignore it anymore, we decided to launch Mile High. Looking back at the last four and a half years, I had no idea that this would have as much as impact on a chiropractic profession, individual practitioners, their offices, their teams and the chiropractic profession as a whole as it has.

Each year, we strive to make the the Mile High chiropractic movement weekend event, better than the year before and each year we strive to have the movement have more impact throughout the year. Grab streaming access to the 2016 event along with early registration for next year before midnight December 31st and save PRE REGISTER. I am extremely grateful for all of those who have latched onto the vision. They say there's nothing as powerful as an idea whose time has come. We are at a crossroads in our profession where more than ever it is needed for practitioners to step up and be involved with chiropractic remaining chiropractic. Advancing chiropractic does not mean advancing it into another profession or another discipline. It means advancing the philosophy, science and art of chiropracTIC.

The Mile High chiropractic movement weekend has created a home for those like-minded practitioners that have vitalistic foundational values of chiropractic at the core of their practice. And facing the direction of that being clearer and more defined and more embodied in their practice each day. They are vertebral subluxation conscious. Which means, they're conscious that subluxations are in  and of themselves a serious detriment to the health of humanity. That when reduced, because in and of themselves they are a detriment to ones health, a persons life is, from that point on never the same. It is forever different, transformed, enhanced, improved in quality and quantity of years. And that that, the location , analysis and adjustment of subluxations are in and of itself  enough in terms of a service to deliver to humanity. In fact, it's way more than enough as it's the most valuable service that exists in the healthcare healing arts and is unduplicated by any other profession.

To remove subluxation from the chiropractic paradigm is actually to remove Chiropractic  from healthcare. And any man or woman who really, truly understands the BIG IDEA, would never allow that to happen consciously. We look forward to seeing you at one of the Mile High chiropractic movement weekends, the next one is on August 17-20, 2017.

Register early. Registration is open here until December 31st.

Any time you're in Colorado we'd love to have you out at one of the Mile High chiropractic philosophy nights. They're the third Thursday of every month in Boulder, Colorado. We would love to welcome you home to the heart and soul of the values, principals of chiropracTIC.

Please enjoy this highlight reel from Mile High for which we heard that was the best one yet. And we are raising the bar for next year. Rise up in your philosophy, your vision, and your strategies by joining us in August 2017.

Research within our profession is vital to its future. Very few know that, and live it as much as Christie Kwon. This is why Mile High is focusing on the Foundation for Vertebral Subluxation Research in 2017. Mile High ticket prices are rising. Commit to joining us August 17th to 20th, 2017, before the clock strikes midnight on this year. www.milehighchiro.org/pre-register

Dr. Christie Kwon is the executive director for the Foundation for Vertebral Subluxation Research and her goal is to get more chiropractors engaged in research. This year, she'll be presenting at our Mile High event. During the course of this podcast, she provided an update on some of the research activity that the Foundation for Vertebral Subluxation Research (FVSR) is currently involved in. Chiropractors have to connect with why research is important and how that translates to practice and certainty and better serving practice members. In this interview, we discussed:

1 - The importance of research and a clear focused research agenda related to subluxation-based chiropractic.

2 - The Foundations Practice Guidelines project.

3 - Other additional research activities that the FVSR is working on.

The mission of the Foundation is to advocate for and advance the founding principles and tenets of the chiropractic profession in the area of vertebral subluxation through research, education, policy and service. A sick and suffering humanity needs us and we need you to join us on this mission.

The foundation has accomplished a significant amount since it's founding in 2010. You can find out more about the foundation on their website www.vertebralsubluxation.org. There is a significant body of research evidence supporting chiropractic care. However, while that may be the case, that needs to continue to grow on a daily basis. The research agenda for the profession has to expand, and the FVSR is a vital part of that. Mile High is very grateful for the work that the foundation does and will be continuing to do and this is why we're promoting and supporting them this year.

Having been one of the first people interviewed on LUX TV, I am thrilled to be able to interview for the Mile High Podcast, Dave Tran. Commit to joining us at a higher altitude before December 31st and save www.milehighchiro.org/pre-register

Dave Tran is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a double major in business management and management information systems.  He completed his doctorate of chiropractic degree at Texas Chiropractic College in 2015.

Since then, he has opened up his practice, The Specific  Chiropractic Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, after completing specialized post-graduate training with the art of the specific in upper cervical specific chiropractic.

In this episode we discussed  the chiropractic school experience.  The importance of getting involved as a student.  Thoughts about opening a practice and the transition to real world practice.

Listen for the gold within Dave's story, you will learn what behaviors you need to adopt to thrive in practice because success leaves clues.  It's great to interview someone who has such a passion for chiropractic.  One thing that is obvious is that Dave stands for a world where no matter what happens, there is something we can do to achieve something extraordinary from it.

Life is a daring adventure, and, as Sterling Kierkegaard said, life can only be understood backwards, but it must be lived forward. Sometimes life takes you on many twists and turns, and you do not know until later why things happen the way they did, that is why life can be such an adventure. In this Mile High podcast episode, we connect with Michael Sontheimer in Peru.

Michael Sontheimer graduated chiropractic school in the U.S., practiced for years, and after healing after an accident and injury, moved down to Peru and has become a vital part of the Shubel Chiropractic Clinics there. In this episode, you will get a bird's eye look into what it is like to practice chiropractic internationally. A major takeaway from the episode is the reminder that chiropractic is awesome and that you have so much to give.

In addition, we covered being active in our profession and how important that is. There's so much all of us can do to help move the needle forward, bit by bit, and we're all part of the team.

One thing I gained from this interview, and knowing Michael Sontheimer is getting a bigger vision, and expanding your vision beyond the four walls of your office is vital to your contribution and growth in the chiropractic profession. We all have callings to make a bigger impact. What's yours?

Thank you first of all for following the Mile High Podcast. We are bringing episodes each week from people in the field just like you and I, as well as well-known experts in various areas of chiropractic. This week's episode is an interesting interview with a chiropractor who practiced in Fort Collins and attended Mile High for several years. His wife was inspired to go to chiropractor school after being at Mile High so they left for Sea Level in Spartanburg, South Carolina for her to attend Sherman College and for him to teach at Sherman.

Mile High rates are going up at the end of the year; join us August 17 - 21, 2017 before the year end www.milehighchiro.org.

Dr. Tate Gentile is teaching patient education at Sherman as well as an elective on neuro functional assessments. He has helped engineer the school getting new instrumentation units slated to be added to the clinic as well. You'll find his journey and practice quite interesting as well as his recommendations for succeeding in practice and as well as their journey to Sherman College.

During the interview he encourages people to stop flying under the radar in chiropractic and to get involved with schools, state boards and organizations so that we can move the profession in a better direction politically and philosophically.

One of the highlights Dr. Gentile shares of his day at Sherman is having lunch with Christopher Kent. I would agree that it would be a pretty amazing highlight every day; furthermore he is also helping to integrate electromyography, heart rate variability, and other instrumentation so that students can be more certain of what it is that they are delivering to their patients. This discussion of objective measures is very exciting; I know you'll get a lot out of it.

There are many people that receive titles and accolades as heroes in chiropractic and there are many unsung heroes that help tremendously… Brian Dooley is one of those chiropractors.

For those that like delving deeper into philosophical concepts. This will be a favorite mile high episode. Remember mile high registration is going up December 31, raise up your altitude and join us at mile high August 17-20th www.milehighchiro.org. Dr. Brian Dooley is a Sherman College of chiropractic graduate who practiced for nine years after associating for two years, who now teaches philosophy at Sherman college. He is quite knowledgeable not only when it comes to teaching the philosophy but also living it at Sherman college. He teaches philosophy to chiropractic history, patient education, and communications. He is also part of the Academy of chiropractic philosophy teaching post graduate program through Sherman and the genius behind the practice success program that Sherman college offers students.

This makes them integral to the future of chiropractics, which is its students and also to help chiropractors that do not have a firm philosophical footing to gain more certainty in that area through the ACP program.

You can find out more about Dr. Brian Dooley here

Also, we highly recommend you learn more about the Academy of chiropractic philosophers.

I predict this will one of the most listened to podcasts in the history of Mile High because it is a vital topic in neuroscience and neurophysiology. Srideep Musuvathy studied electrical engineering at University of Southern California and was introduced to the chiropractic as a healing art by receiving data of unfiltered electromyograph readings from a CLA Insight Millenium on Networks Spinal Analysis patients. Join us at Mile High, August 17th-20th, 2017, register today at www.milehighchiro.org.

His first review of the data, having never seen a chiropractor or known about network, found in his first review that mathematically a wave was moving through a person's spines and was something that he had never seen before. Since that time, he has conducted mathematical research on patients receiving Networks Spinal Analysis Care and published papers relative to Central Pattern Generators, coherence, energy, systems theory and reorganizational healing. In this podcast, we discuss how the body heals, the challenges of conducting research on such a complex phenomenon, the evidence of a person's body increasing their organization through chiropractic force applications specifically Networks Spinal Analysis, and the related science. For those that can put their scientist hat on in terms of thought, they will find this fascinating.

You can read more about the research that Srideep conducted in the resources below. As well as an incredible video that shows how the electromyograph readings from an insight subluxation station to the person’s body and how mathematically a wave cannot be faked.

A central tenant of chiropractic philosophy is the Triune of life, Intelligence, force, and matter. And that disease is nothing more nor less than a lack of organization or order. The total being is either in orderly, organized harmony, or in disorder. To see mathematically the nerve system show greater levels of organization and coherence is landmark, not only for chiropractic, as a healing art, but also neuroscience and neurophysiology. Enjoy this Mile High podcast and check out the additional references on this material.

In this episode, we will be catching up with Dr. Krista Burns DC, DrHA, CPEP, CPS, BS as she's on the road in Florida on a U.S. tour. Dr. Krista Burns lives and practices in Parma, Italy. She is the vice president of membership of the League of Chiropractic Women, and also the American Posture Institute.

In this episode, we discussed postural neurology, which is fascinating in terms of its changes in neuro plasticity and how it is a functional approach and not a pain-based approach. With this, Dr. Krista Burns discussed how postural neurology can help their patients hold their adjustment longer, create neuro plastic changes of the posture system, and how they can increase their doctor to patient communication with posture.

This is a fascinating material, and we also discussed positioning yourself as an expert in your community and how you differentiate and set yourself apart from others who will be best served by your approach, you can reach new levels of impact in your success. Some great Ts to position yourself as a go-to-expert in your community are discussed during this podcast that I know you will enjoy. During this, also, Dr. Krista Burns gives us a great resource, the top 20 research studies every brain-based practitioner needs to know.

Enjoy listening to this podcast episode and find more about the relationship between posture and neurology. Mile High is extremely grateful for the League of Chiropractic Women and what they are doing for chiropractic and wants to encourage you to continue to think outside the four walls of your office. In this fun podcast episode, we get to know Dr. Jon Baker, who practiced for 30 years in California, opening nine satellite clinics in the early 90s and helping several DCs and their families impact many lives. Dr. Baker has been a supporter of Sherman College, Life West, and Mile High for the last several years, as he sees that we need to focus our attention and energy and helping True Chiropractic thrive. Join us at Mile High commit early and save at www.milehighchiroregistrations.com

One of the things that I appreciate about him is he believes we can truly make a difference as humans and chiropractors by being great examples of people who always and in all ways lead by example and follow by choice. He wants to see chiropractic delivered in such a way that people understand it so it can positively change the world in many ways. His message is to the profession to stop just being different and truly make a difference.

A few things that are central to Dr. Baker's values, that are important for doctors of chiropractic and students to move towards in terms of success is that he determined early, when he looked around the profession, there wasn't as much happiness, health, passive income, net worth, and light at the end of the tunnel, as he wanted to see. Too often, chiropractors were working where they didn't have any freedom, they couldn't take vacation time, they couldn't be out of the office and they basically didn't have a business, they were self-employed people with jobs that were tied to their practice. We all love serving and seeing people's lives change through chiropractic, however when you're delivering the greatest healing art on the planet, it would be great to see you thriving as well as the people you're taking care of.

As we discussed in this interview, to move your chiropractic practice to a business, his vision is you have to be able to leave the practice for six months, and it still run without you. A significant contributor to numerous charities, within and outside of chiropractic, Dr. Baker is making an impact on the better in the world, and when you hear about his project he's working on with X Ray corrective changes, you're going to find it very exciting.

Have fun enjoying this interview, if you enjoy it please share it as well as give feedback online.

He was awarded the Sherman College Chiropractor of the Year for 2016, due to his incredible relentless efforts to bring pure chiropractic message to the world. One of the highlights that I learned from this episode was that schools have streamed IFCO-TV and even canceled classes so people could watch and learn from it.

Sep 29, 2016

Dr. Hahn’s ultimate goal is to change the health care in America by putting chiropractic in the forefront of families’ thoughts by correcting their spinal subluxations. Gratefully, I just finished up recently hosting IFCO TV with Frank Hahn in New Jersey at a TLC event. Mile High early registration and streaming access savings are ending September 30th Commit today to join us atwww.milehighchiroregistrations.com

Dr. Hahn is well respected in all phases of chiropractic, from pediatric to geriatric and everyone between. He attended Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Dr. Hahn was presented a special award at graduation, the BJ Palmer Philosophy Award for his ability to communicate Chiropractic Philosophy. He has been practicing chiropractic in Franklin Park, NJ since graduation in 2003.

He says his vision is for “every man, woman and child on the planet to become educated about the benefits of chiropractic”. Dr. Hahn created and appears regularly on IFCO-TV, an online television show he created for the International Federation of Chiropractors and Organizations (IFCO). He is active with the IFCO, and he is a board member of the Garden State Chiropractic Society. He has written a book, 47 Reasons to Visit Your Chiropractor, available on Amazon. In a vision of reaching more people with the IFCO's message, He had the idea of utilizing video over the Internet to create a way to connect more people with the values of the IFCO.

Since then, IFCO-TV has exploded in popularity. And people from around the world tune in to IFCO-TV. They stream interviews from chiropractic events around the world, and also now live stream portions of some videos of some speakers from events.

Dr. Hahn works countless hours on this streaming from events, such as our own Mile High Weekend, as well as New Beginnings, Focus, the IFCO Summit, and so many more. They are constantly being asked to attend programs, so they can have IFCO-TV. His vision is creating quality content that people want to see, and that will help spread chiropractic.

It is indeed evident that watching this podcast would help you expand your vision and desire to have greater grasp of the chiropractic message. Enjoy!
