The only way you can create revenue in business is by selling.  There’s no other way.  If you or the people on your team aren’t awesome at sales, you’ll find it hard to survive, much less thrive, in the current economy or any economy.  Hugh Liddle, Your Chiropractic Sales Wizard, is the special guest on this episode of The Mile High Podcast.

Hugh is Your Head Sales Wizard at Red Cap Sales Coaching and Elite Sales Academy, where you can learn to make selling easy, fun and profitable.  Hugh’s sales training and coaching comes from over 52 years of in-the-field sales and sales management experience, so you get real life experience from his teaching, not just something out of a textbook.  Hugh is the author of Take the Icky and Scary Out of Sales, which is available in paperback or Kindle versions at Amazon.com.  He’s also a radio talk show host.  His podcast, The Sales Chalk Talk Show, is produced every week and available on Spotify, YouTube, Sound Cloud, iTunes and many more.  He’s also a terrific, in-demand public speaker, who provides education, encouragement, and entertainment for your corporate or association events.

When Hugh isn’t teaching salespeople, he’s home in Sebring, Florida with his wife, Priscilla, Jasmine the dog and Mooch and Minnie the cats.  He has 6 children, 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  He’s a singer/songwriter with more than 50 songs written and recorded.  Hugh has been the sales coach in my practice since 2009 and coaches other very successful chiropractors as well.

On this episode, you’ll discover:

  • The main key to selling today
  • The most important sales skill you need to develop
  • The communication process for successful sales
  • And MUCH more!

So watch and enjoy this episode.  Be watching for an announcement of an upcoming Master Class, where Hugh will be joining Richelle Knowles, Julie Jones, and me in a series about how you can create a $100K-a-month practice.  And be sure to mark your calendar for Mile High 11, coming September 21st – 24th, 2023.

There are many unsung heroes who go above and beyond for the Chiropractic vision, and Dr. Laurie Meinholz is one of those.  This podcast is a song for her!

Dr. Laurie is a Chiropractor in Decorah, Iowa.   She provides management of neuromuscular conditions like back pain, neck pain, sciatica, and muscular pain.

Laurie is a 2008 Luther graduate. While at Luther, she studied under Jane Hawley as a theatre/dance major. She then went on to pursue Chiropractic, graduating from Palmer in 2013. After graduation Laurie opened up her own practice.

Laurie says, “In my chiropractic practice, I find myself teaching MF to my patients one visit and one concept at a time. I teach them simple things like how to fall properly, as well as body patterning and connections. Teaching these small portions of MF to patients helps them use their bodies more efficiently, avoid injury, and have less frequent visits to the chiropractor. I also use my knowledge of MF in order to care for my own body while working on others.”

Dr. Laurie’s grandmother was a patient of Clarence Gonstad, and Laurie found her way to a life of service through Chiropractic.  She’s in charge of the student community for the IFCO and also their Greenbook study group.  She has assisted with Mile High for many years.

In this episode you’ll hear about:

  • The only international chiropractic association focusing on the advancement of adjustment-focused care and defending the rights to practice on that level

  • Our students - the future of chiropractic

  • Ways to lift up the future of chiropractic

  • How Laurie’s grandmother told her she has to do what Gonstead did

  • And so much more!

IFCO’s vision and their support of the Mile High movement has been a tremendous blessing.  Dr. Laurie's contribution to her community, chiropractic students, and humanity through the IFCO and more is a source of tremendous value and gratitude.

People often say that not enough chiropractors have had a chiropractic experience. Patrick McMahon feels the same way, and that it is up to us chiropractors to deliver a chiropractic experience to our practice members for experience of life with a stronger, healthier, well aligned spine and nerve system, and the coherence of that experience.

Patrick’s favorite quote is, “Life is the expression of tone, and that sentence is the basic principle of Chiropractic.” D.D. Palmer. The essence of that statement is why it is important to become a master chiropractor. Patrick says that, “Every single chiropractor is capable of becoming a master chiropractor with the right training, the right practice, and commitment, and what the world needs is more chiropractors consistently delivering the Undeniable Experience.”

Patrick is the cofounder of Syntropy.  He’s a graduate of Parker College of Chiropractic and currently practices in Barcelona. A self-professed chiropractic nerd, Patrick is a consummate student of anything chiropractic. Equally fascinated by the science, philosophy and art, Patrick has a gift for synthesizing seemingly differing world views.

On this episode you’ll learn:

  • What Syntropy is and how it came to be
  • A master mindset in adjusting
  • The difference between manipulation and adjustment
  • The importance of dropping in
  • And MUCH more!

Dr. Josh was called to the Chiropractic field at a young age when his life was radically transformed through the power of an adjustment.  As a child, he suffered for many years with severe allergies and asthma.  Young Dr. Josh saw immediate improvements in his wellbeing and over a short period of time, under regular chiropractic care, and all of his previous symptoms and conditions had vanished. Dr. JT Anderson is a force to be reckoned with in Chiropractic and in life!  Doc JT has been in chiropractic practice for 30 years in the Mile High State.  He has been the official chiropractor for the Denver Broncos, Colorado Crush, and Denver Outlaws and is passionate about chiro practice.

JT started lifting weights at age 13 and began to compete as a weightlifter in the Junior Olympics at age 15.  The challenge was that his joints began to break down, resulting in severe lower back pain.  He started chiropractic care as a result and has received care ever since.

He  shifted gears to become more flexible and pursue a healthy way of training his body   Bodybuilding was a good fit, and he began to compete in various bodybuilding contests at age 16.

At the University of Northern Colorado, he studied human anatomy and chemistry and became a certified personal trainer. As his clientele began to grow, he had to find new exercise concepts to enhance their performance. He started to work with massage therapists and chiropractors, focusing on injuries and postural changes.

He completed his Chiropractic Doctorate at Parker Chiropractic College in Dallas, Texas, where he learned the true value of Chiropractic Health Care as a vehicle to impact overall health.  He began to view the body as a "whole unit" with the nervous system being the master system and the spinal bones protecting the exiting nerves.  Enough pressure on the nerves can create a host of issues including pain, muscle weakness and organ dysfunction.  Removing the interference will allow the body to naturally heal on its own, the way GOD intended.

JT is the author of two awesome books, No Bones About It – A Memoir of a Chiropractor and Outside the Fence -  A Father’s Journey from Coach to Fan.  You can order both books at http://jtanderson.biz.

On this podcast you’ll hear JT discuss:

  • His book No Bones About It - The Memoir of a Chiropractor
  • The Art, Philosophy, and Science of Chiropractic
  • The physical, mental, and nutritional benefits of Chiropractic
  • Why your brain is so important relative to your health
  • Where Chiropractic is headed in the next 10 years
  • And MUCH more!
