The Chiropractic world must pay attention to what has happened, is happening, and will be happening in Australia.

Significant forces against vitalistic chiropractic in Australia have spurred the launch and fundraising for the Australian Chiropractic College. Dr. Marcus Chacos is one of the doctors spear-heading much-needed fundraising for the Australia College.

At school, Marcus was fascinated with the human body and healthcare — so much so, in fact, that when he won an award for public speaking and debating, he bought an anatomy and physiology textbook with his prize money! It was the influence of his then-girlfriend (and future wife) that motivated Marcus to enter chiropractic school. He enrolled at Macquarie University (then the Sydney College of Chiropractic). Before finishing at Macquarie, he received a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy from the University of New South Wales. Then, he completed a Master of Chiropractic at Macquarie.

To expand his knowledge, Marcus has completed a significant number of postgraduate studies, including a graduate degree in Clinical Nutrition and a Master’s in Chiropractic Sports Science. Marcus’ approach to care looks at healing on all levels.

Marcus has lectured and worked as a tutor at the Canberra Institute of Technology in Psychology. He’s provided medical science courses for the Kim Dudley College for Natural Therapists. With his additional studies in kinesiology, Marcus became an instructor in the subject. He’s even studied quantum physics and symbolism to work on an incredibly profound, holistic level with his clients.

Recently, he has been campaigning to impact chiropractic for the better and to raise funds for the ACC. One event raised $80,000 for the ACC, and his last program, the Neuroscience of Chiropractic, raised $100,000 for the ACC.

On this podcast, you’ll heat Dr. Chacos discuss:

  • Chiropractic philosophy in Australia
  • The need for a strong Chiropractic philosophical presence around the world
  • The importance of paying attention to and supporting Chiropractic globally.

May this episode inspire you to impact Chiropractic for the better. Make sure you listen throughout until the end, because it will inspire you to give more to your practice, your community, the Chiropractic profession and the world.
