As there's been a very important shift in Chiropractic from a very male-dominated profession to more balance between male and female. This month there has been a major focus on women in the workplace, and the very special guests on this episode of The Mile High Podcast are two very talented and influential women doctors, Dr. Michelle Wendling and Dr. Roxanne Wagner.

Dr. Michelle is the president of the Women Doctor of Chiropractic (WDC), a women chiropractor's organization.  WDC is a non-profit dedicated to creating a worldwide community that supports, empowers, and connects women chiropractors.   Dr. Michelle graduated Suma Cum Laude from Life Chiropractic College West. She owned a referral-based cash practice in Denver, Colorado, for 15 years.  Dr. Michelle (as her patients affectionately referred to her) was voted Rising Star Chiropractor of the Year in 2013 and 2015 by the Colorado Chiropractic Association due to her commitment to helping chiropractors succeed in Colorado.  She served on the Colorado Board of Chiropractic Examiners 2013-2021 and became a board member of the WDC in 2021.  She has always been passionate about serving chiropractors as well as her patients.  She’s mentored chiropractors since 2009 to be the BEST they can be for their patients, practice and for themselves.  She has produced over 200 videos to help doctors all over the world on her Be the Best Chiropractor website.

Dr. Roxanne Wagner practices in Lakewood, Colorado, with her husband. The two of them together are part of the non-profit board for the WDC and are very focused on helping women find their tribes, and connect with other women, so they can impact the world together with an experienced community and support systems.  She graduated from Palmer College in Florida. While in chiropractic school, she was the president of many campus clubs and always had a passion for teaching her peers.  She now teaches Anatomy and Physiology at the Community College of Denver and has started teaching seminars for chiropractors on documentation, billing, examination, and owning a practice.

 On this podcast, you’ll hear:

  • The importance of connection and belonging to something
  • How you can have fun while following the necessary rules
  • How to tell what is really necessary
  • How documentation can work for you rather than against you
  • And MUCH more

It’s always enjoyable to have guests on the Mile High Podcast who are second-generation chiropractors.  They so often have lived a life where they're taught from a very young age to trust life and Chiropractic.

Dr. Kim Thor Adams was born and raised in Nebraska. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Creighton University in 2005 and graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2009. She has been practicing chiropractic in Norfolk, Nebraska for over ten years. In 2017 she became certified in the Webster Technique. Dr. Kim is married with two beautiful daughters, Kinley Adele and Kapri Estelle. They light up her life and inspire her daily to live with meaningful purpose. She strives to take great care of each patient, like she would her own child. She has been called “The Baby Whisperer” for her focus on adjusting children and spines of all ages.

It's no wonder that her favorite quote is, "Do not go where the path may lead. Instead, go where there is no path and make your trail." - Ralph Waldo Emerson. She makes the trail of leadership in her practice, in her community, and in the chiropractic profession.

On this podcast, you’ll hear Kim talk about

  • The importance of authenticity and trust, confidence, and certainty
  • Helping people move to a life of above, down, inside out, chiropractic and natural health
  • Freedom from the many things that people symbolize and connect to as fear
  • And MUCH more!
