They light up her life and inspire her daily to live with meaningful purpose. She strives to take great care of each patient, like she would her own child. She has been called “The Baby Whisperer” for her focus on adjusting children and spines of all ages.

It's no wonder that her favorite quote is, "Do not go where the path may lead. Instead, go where there is no path and make your trail." - Ralph Waldo Emerson. She makes the trail of leadership in her practice, in her community, and in the chiropractic profession.

One of the speakers at that event was Dr. Jay Komarek, and he’s one of the CE speakers at Mile High X in Denver, June 2nd – 5th

Jay Komarek is Colorado's leading animal chiropractor and a special soul, who has graced the Mile High stage many times.   Jay has been in family practice for 35 years.  The focus of the care he has been delivering in that time centers on restoring mental, emotional, and physical well-being in order to optimize human potential.  This is achieved through the delivery of chiropractic care with the intent of clearing the nervous system of imbalances that are the result of traumas in all their varied forms.  The role of Chiropractic is one of restoring balance in the human body in order that inherent-intelligence-within may function without interference. Jay has had the opportunity to take care of thousands of people and animals during his career and is privileged to witness the benefits of this type of approach.  He teaches programs on adjusting and philosophy of healing at several Chiropractic colleges as well as delivers guest lectures around the country.

In this episode we talk about a topic that's vital to chiropractors, especially at a time where often the use of x-rays by chiropractors is being questioned.  Pam Arroway and Adam Evearitt are co-owners of Atom Physics which is based out of Brumfield and has been providing x-ray services to the Frontridge community since 2011 and they have expanded into nationwide sales and service.  Whether you need a repair on a current machine, software support, or an entirely new machine, they're your go-to team.  They assist with shield design, moving office, new office service, radiation safety and so much more.

In this episode, we ask about any big changes in the x-ray field.

  • Their backgrounds in x-ray physics.
  • Radiation safety.
  • What is important in an x-ray system.
  • How to reduce team and patient radiation dosage.
  • And so much more!

At a time when raising the bar in clinical excellence and providing objective outcome measures is vital to your success as a chiropractor, you will gain a lot of insight such as how much exposure is too much and guidelines for patient safety in this episode.  Enjoy.  See you on higher ground.

Many chiropractors want to steer clear of selling and just overwhelm people with information about the science and philosophy of Chiropractic, hoping that will influence them to start care.  The truth is that it takes more than that if you want to build a successful, profitable practice.

The special guest on this episode of The Mile High Podcast is Hugh Liddle, THE Chiropractic Sales Wizard.

Hugh has been coaching my teams in selling and communication for the past 11 years, with tremendous results.  Let me tell you just a little about Hugh.

Hugh Liddle is Your Head Sales Wizard at Red Cap Sales Coaching and Elite Sales Academy, where you can learn to make selling easy, fun and profitable.  Hugh’s sales training and coaching comes from almost 52 years of in-the-field sales and sales management experience, so you get real life experience from his teaching, not just something out of a textbook.  Hugh is the author of Take the Icky and Scary Out of Sales, which is available in paperback or Kindle versions at Amazon.com.  He’s also a radio talk show host.  His show, Sales Chalk Talk, is produced every week and available on iTunes.  He’s also a terrific, in-demand public speaker, who provides education, encouragement, and entertainment for your corporate or association events.

When Hugh isn’t teaching salespeople, he’s home in Sebring, Florida with his wife, Priscilla, Jasmine the dog and Mooch and Minnie the cats.  He has 6 children, 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  He plays guitar and bass, sings, writes music and records it.

His favorite quote is “You’re not the jackass whisperer!”

On this episode you’ll learn about:

  • A healthy sales philosophy and mindset
  • Want vs. Need in sales
  • Marketing and Selling to the Limbic Brain
  • The difference between a hard no and an objection
  • And Much More!
